July 4: College Closed for Independence Day

Virginia Peninsula Community College campuses in Hampton and Williamsburg will be closed July 4 in observance of Independence Day.

A federal holiday since 1941, Independence Day commemorates the adoption of the Declaration of Independence. On July 4, 1776, the Continental Congress approved the final wording of the Declaration of Independence. The holiday celebrates the birth of the United States of America.

During the College’s closure many services, including registration, will be available online at vpcc.edu. New and returning students may register now for fall 2023 classes.

The College offers various sessions within each semester including 16-week, 12-week, and 8-week. To check out details click here.
